Los parientes y amigos que extrañan a las personas velan junto al altar toda esa noche esperando su llegada. Como se mencionó antes, en algunos lugares también la conocen como \u003cstrong\u003eflor de octubre\u003c/strong\u003e, ya que la mayoría de las flores de cempasúchil son anuales, es decir, que nacen y solo viven una temporada, siendo la más común durante este mes del año, después de la época de lluvias.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eSin duda, es uno de los elementos más representativos de las ofrendas para los muertos. Pero, ¿qué representan las flores de cempasúchil? Una cosa es el significado de la flor de cempasúchil y otra su simbolismo. Al desatarse una guerra, Huitzilin fue a pelear para defender las tierras aztecas y murió.
